Lagavulin 16

Smoke
Peat

It's an experience.

This.

I love Islay whiskies. Ardbeg 10 is my go to. It's the combo of character, peat and price. But I've yet to find an Islay that I don't like - Laphroaig, Bowmore, Lagavulin, Bruichladdich, et. al.

More Than Just Peat and Smoke: The Best Islay Single Malts

And this. Lagavulin 16 is my favourite attainable whisky but it's pretty costly so I don't drink it as much as I used to do. Laphroaig 10 is my day to day go to these days but I've yet to find an Islay malt that I didn't like.

I also like most highland malts and Highland Park anything.

I really like this stuff. It's got a nice, smokey finish.

But at $90 bottle, it's only an occasional thing

For general Scotch related activities, I go with Black Label for straight or on the rocks, or Red Label for mixing with soda.
