Cissy Strut - The Funky Meters
The Divided Sky - Phish
In memory of Elizabeth Reed - The Allman Brothers

If Cissy & Divided Sky count, then I'm gonna add Zappa's Peaches en Regalia. But I don't think Divided Sky should count, it has a chorus. Zappa's Apostrohphe (which is really just a section of a studio jam) is one of my favorites, too. Bron Yr Aur by Zeppelin off of Physical Graffiti and Little Martha by ABB, and Bliss by Phish are three of my favorite acoustic instrumentals. Flecktones/Bela Fleck instrumentals I love: Big Country, Bigfoot, Lochs of Dread, New South Africa, Cheeseballs in Cowtown, and Stomping Grounds. And can't forget Black Market and Birdland by Weather Report!

Lots of good stuff there.

I'll add a portion of a song to this list. One "movement" from Genesis - Supper's Ready is titled Apocolypse in 9/8. Frickin' awesome!

Add to that Rush 2112 Overture (& Most of The Temples of Syrinx)

I also love many others on the lists already posted.

YYZ
La Villa Strangiato
Walk Don't Run (Our band did this at our last show)
Peter Gunn Theme (Love the ELP version)

Lots more but there's a few for your consideration.
