Have you seen your favorite players live in concert?

Which ones would you still like to see?

I saw Nate Watts with Stevie Wonder
and Louis Johnson with Quincy Jones in Summer of 82 Budweiser Superfest.

I've sat front row twice for Esperanza Spalding .

I've seen Fred Hammond twice and I've seen Debra Killings twice.

Marcus Miller , saw him twice for free Clifford Brown Jazz Fest .

I've never seen Paul S. Denman ( Please Sade tour again)!!!

Sadly , Bernard Edwards is no longer here.

I have seen Stanley Clarke, Bootsy, Leon Sylvers III, Bobby Watson (Rufus,) Nathaniel Phillips (Pleasure,) Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, Mark Adams (Slave,) Michele Ndegeocello, Steve Bailey, Bernard Edwards, Mike Mills ( REM,) Darryl Jones (with Miles Davis,) Charlie Haden, Percy Heath, Terry Lewis (The Time,) B.B. Dickerson (War,) Cordell Mosson (Parliament,) Marvin Isley, Aaron Mills (Cameo,) Andy West (Dixie Dregs,) Wyzard (Mother's Finest,) Doug Pinnick (King's X,) Fernaundo Saunders (Bohannon,) Ronald LaPread (Commodores,) Cedric Napoleon (Pieces of a Dream,) David Dyson (Meshell Ndegeocello,) Anthony Joyner, (Faith Hill,) Darin Gray (Tweedy and my teacher,) Chris Wood (Martin, Medeski, and Wood,) Gary Grainger (Pockets, John Scofield,) Marshall Jones (Ohio Players,) Tinker Barfield (Angela Bofill, Luther Vandross.)

How could I forget I saw Tom Kennedy this summer? That dude is incredible. He and Dave Weckl are amazing together. Two more great St. Louis area bassists I have seen are Al Caldwell and John King. I saw the great Billy Sheehan in a music store clinic and I saw Bryan Beller of the Aristocrats at a clinic too.

I saw Larry Graham back 1977, opening for the Isley Brothers. It was the second loudest concert I ever saw.

There are more, but I have to think about it.

I've seen hundreds of my favorites but also not seen as many or more.

As far as those who are still alive, Esperanza Spalding and Bridgit Kearney would top the list of those I would go out of my way to see if they were playing a suitable (small) venue.
