Not really a 'big' breakfast guy...bowl of oatmeal or cereal works most days, as I don't like to be bogged down all morning from a heavy meal.

However, I do eat breakfast for dinner quite often when eating out. Chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns and pancakes are one of my faves.

Breakfast tacos, although they are not something I would eat every day. Lately I have been cutting down on breakfast and usually just having a breakfast shake.

But if I have real food, I prefer savory foods only. Nothing sweet like jelly or pancake syrup so early in the day.

Eggs benidict is my go to go out for weekend breakfast, and it's usually pretty quick as long as I'm not the one making it or doing the dishes ;)

A couple of years ago, I made eggs benedict at home. Once I saw how much oil went into the hollandaise, I vowed never to make it again :) But I still love it and order it as an indulgence every now and then.

There's a diner here in Montreal that does a smoked meat benedict (with, yes, smoked meat in place of the Canadian bacon), and it's amazing. But definitely a meal that requires a long nap after.
