FB Basses?

Anyone know anything about FB basses? I ran across this one at gguitars and It's got to be one of the most beautiful Jazz's I've seen in a while.

Not to bag on fenders, as they're beautiful in their own way, but I've never seen a fender quite like that

I have a copy of a Jazz made by Fernandes. I bought it about 9 years ago, now when I played it in the shop it sounded alot better than the japanese/mexican fender but was about £70 less. So as I see it if you can find a bass that sounds good and feels good you can save yourself some money. But by looking at the top of that one I think you might be paying the same price as a usa fender. I very much like the T bass by Trace Elliot, that looks like the jazz but there is alot more going on than meets the eye. Looks aren't everything but it's gotta look like something
