Fed up with FedEx tracking!

I've been getting emails from FedEx tracking. Monday evening I got one telling me that it would come Tuesday. Tuesday evening I got another saying that I would get it today. And now they are telling me that they won't know a delivery date until the package starts moving! I realize that they are busy this time of the year but, don't tell me it is coming yesterday when it is stuck in Grove City OH and they don't know when it will come. I'm very discussed with FedEx

This a zZounds order ?

Oh come on! He PAID top dollar for the free shipping. He has every right to be "discussed". What even are holidays? Maybe they apply to other people but why should they apply to this fine gentleman? He's not just some commoner.
That seems a little harsh. They did tell him bad info. If they had said “Sorry, not until Thursday”, that’d be different.

This has been my experience with FedEx over the past year.

1 bass at my local station out for delivery. Watched it go 2 states away. Supposedly it never made it on my local truck. Arrived 4 days later busted and broken.

Sent bass back to store, same thing. Arrives 2 days late.

Replacement bass arrived 3 days late after being told it was out for delivery and driver shows up and says… I’m supposed to have a box for you but I can’t find it on my truck. The other express driver must be bringing it later today . I’m sure he has it. I’ll call him.
2 days later still no bass even though tracking says out for delivery arriving by 2pm . Signature required for delivery. I’m sitting in my house all weekend. I call and FedEx tells me it will come Tuesday . I told the lady on the phone that computer shows out for delivery . She tells me on her side it says Tuesday delivery go ahead and leave my house because it’s not coming today.
10 minutes later it shows up.

3 items purchased and shipped simultaneously as gifts shipped directly to my friends . We were supposed to go a zoom reveal . All scheduled to arrive the same day. None arrived on time. One friend had to hunt hers down in the apartment complex. Mine arrived 2 days later. The other 3 days late.

Another box shows up with a huge hole like they wanted to see what was inside.

I’m done with FedEx !!!!

You can't depend on FedEx tracking.:rollno: I found that the best way to deal with their unreliable tracking, is to have it shipped to a FedEx store, if one is in your area. This works out very well for me as the package gets signed for and I can pick it up at my convenience instead of waiting at home all day only to not have them show up. FedEx never delivers on time. And if you live in an apartment, they won't bring it to you door. They'll just leave it in the hallway near the mail boxes where someone could steal it.:poop:

It's funny how the competence of the shipping companies varies from region to region.

We avoid UPS like the plague around here. Fedex serves us well.

Having said that, both UPS and Fedex drivers have been delivering in our neighborhood for several years now. They know us and our neighbors personally. We very seldom have issues with either.

Amazon delivery has been quite hit-and-miss lately. Several times this year, I've gotten a notice that a package was delivered. The first couple of times, I went to report a problem with a delivery and one of the footnotes says to give the delivery a few hours even after the delivered notification has come in. In all cases, the Amazon package finally showed up 2-3 hours later. I actually asked one Amazon delivery driver about that and she said the drivers don't deliver any notifications. She just scans the package when it's delivered.

And she said she's heard of that happening quite a bit. "But don't tell anyone I said that!"...... :roflmao:

You should call them - i had a similar experience a few years ago and it turned out my package was aggressively de-prioritized in a sorting location. The folks I talked to got it unstuck and even followed up the next day to confirm it left the facility and then called me to inform. I cant remember if it was fedex or ups but i was astounded at the customer service from their indian call center

Sounds like it’s lost. I had the same experience from zzounds in May. They sent me another one that was delivered. Mine was lost at the delivery hub strangely enough.
