I have repair prices on my site but you'd be better served checking with Lisa Gass or some other local luthier - prices vary by region.
Bridge: $375.00
Sound post: $75.00
Fingerboard dress: $245.00
Set up: $90.00
A loose bass bar needs to be seen for an estimate but the top will be coming off.
I contacted the seller (no news back yet) and asked about the repair history and about playing it in person. I plan on meeting him at LA Bass Works so Lisa can evaluate it. If I do like it, I'll offer him $3000 in cash (maybe $3100 if he haggles me) and taking it right there and then. If it really does need work, the $500 I taken off (probably plus a little more) would be a good rough estimate for the repair. Thanks for all the information you all gave me. I'll keep you guys posted!

I got a hold of the seller and we are going to meet soon. He bought the bass at Stein on Vine and he has had the bass serviced there. The neck has never fallen off and the tailpiece gut is sturdy. There has only been one crack on the top which is near the tailpiece. Since I already contacted Lisa Gass about buying a bass from her and played several of her basses, I thought it would be rude of me to have her inspect the bass, so I am seeing if Jon Peterson can inspect it. I'll let you all know if the deal goes through.
