"feeler"?

Maybe we should start a 'people that don't click on feeler threads' club.

The feeler threads I've looked at do seem to support the 'I'm out for maximum profit and hoping to convince you I'm not quite ready to sell so you'll pay my high asking price' but I accept that some might be genuine. I just don't want to waste my time dealing with someone who's not sure they want to sell.

Overall it comes down to this. When you own something, if you decide to sell it and then change your mind, it's ultimately yours so u can make that decision. I think the only way it's wrong is if u make a concrete deal and then back out. I mean just cause u interested and anticipating buying something doesn't in anyway make it yours. You win some u lose some and that's just the way the cookie crumbles. No sense in cryin over spilled milk.

I always find it kind of amusing with a TBer puts an item up for sale with a very detailed description and pictures (that would answer 99% of potential questions people would have), and three thousand people post, saying, "PM sent." Even after all of those posts, the item's still up for sale. People must think they can give redonkulous low-ball offers or think that "For Sale" really means "For Trade."

When I PM someone about an item for sale, it's generally because I am interested in purchasing that item at the posted cost. If the seller is selling above market price, then I just won't bother; and if the seller wanted to trade, I would assume that he or she would have said he or she was considering a trade in the original post.
