I've always wondered in situations like these if there is some hard feelings with the bass maker. Obviously, Fodera is friends with Felix, and they either made the bass for him, or only charged him their costs for it. Either way, I feel like it would be a slap in the face to Fodera to sell it. Especially for that insane amount.

With the proceeds he might be able to purchase a stack-knob pre-CBS J-Bass, mod it to be a fretless, and then still have enough left over for some white pants, a cool Caribbean shirt/head-wrap and a YUGE Acoustic rig with the folded horns.

Felix is a sensational player. I over the twenty or so years I have known his name I regard him as having improved immeasurably into an absolutely mint bassist. He always sounds great on those Fodera basses!

no kidding! and from what i can tell/sense, i agree with @Dr. Cheese in that he seems like a straight-up cat.

but 25k for that ax, as cool as it must be, is troublesome.
