I actually sold my nicer guitars and guitar amps, just kept these two semi-hollows, an Agile and an SX from Rondo because it's the only place I could find 3/4" nuts so I can play "cowboy chords" with my large finger tips...

then the little black OLP, probably because it wasn't worth selling. :)

I have a couple acoustics, as well.

I hope this topic is not blasphemy in this holy place of bass.

This is my main studio setup, with Marshall Silver Jubilee Combo changed for the same one but Head+Cab (it's currently on the way).

The Gibson Les Paul '68 Custom Authentic Ebony, on the other hand, has been with me for 13 years. In fact, I ordered my Sandberg California Custom to match the Gibson :).

Show me your electric guitars, don't be afraid!

Hardly blasphemy, but there is a "Guitar Players' Corner" here.

I guess you didn’t see this…
Guitar players corner!

But “fellowship”, “blasphemy”, “holy place of bass”? Isn’t that a bit much? It sounds like some sort of cult.
Yeah, I play bass, but I play other stuff too, some things better than others. And yeah, I have guitars, a bunch, mainly parts projects & experiments of the usual suspects, and then knock-offs of the other classic designs, but many are oddball like Vox, plus a Squier ‘51 that I’m in the middle of converting to a Fender(not 7ender)Bass VI style 6-string bass. The only seriously valuable one I have is a ‘72 Tele, but I’m a big fan of mutations of the classics, like these…

On the left, a Greco that is somewhat hard to find, on the right a Washburn that is as close to Les Paul that I’ll bother with, it’s got a bit of Jazzmaster vibe.
I am first and foremost a bassist, but I took up guitar after four years to expand my knowledge of music theory and song structure, dabbled in mandolin, harmonica (just like Jack Bruce), got good on slide and lap steel, and had a modicum of self-taught success on synth bass. But to those who carry on like it’s so forbidden and such a horrible shame to have anything to do with guitar, whether you’re kidding or not…just grow up.

This comes around quicker and quicker. Maybe we could just have a perpetual thread?
