The route looks right. Maybe refinished though? Pickguard screws look like it might be right but it also looks like maybe someone redrilled for a different guard.
The routing between the pickups and pots looks a bit different than my 78 (but actually mine has a sticker under the pickup saying 1980, but the serial stars with S8, so it should be a 78 body..)

But I think I have seen some different styles of routing on late 70s P-basses.. So maybe It could be a real body, but it has probably been refinished, I have never seen that colour on a 78 precision.
It looks to be a couple of years older than a '78. The routing looks right for a Fender but that slotted and angled rout under the bridge looks like an early/mid '70's (73-76 with the connecting rout from the control cavity to the p'up cavity).
