Fender 215 bassman

Hey guys,
I have this 215 bassman cab from either the late 60's-early 70's. The tone I get off of it is killer, I get really punchy lows and reasonably clear highs from my current Squier P bass. Eventually I want to get a telecaster bass as my main. I want to mod the cabinet, which is what this thread is about. What 15 inch speakers would give me a tone that gives me that punchyness I'm looking for? Or is it even worth changing the cabinet? Because it is 100% stock. In that case would it be wise to get an additional 210 or 212 cabinet to catch the highs? I am really happy I have this amp, I just want a more customized and precise tone.
Thanks for reading and/or replying! :bassist:

If it has original JBLs I'd leave it as is. For not much more than the cost of 2 new speakers you could get another cab and have a completely different sound to work with and another cab at your disposal. If it sounds killer, don't mess with it!
