Fender 250 2x10 combo.

Can I run my Bassman 250/210 combo out to a 410 cab? The cab i was thinking of is rated at 350 continuous watts at 8 ohms, and the parallel out on the back of the combo is 250 watts at 4 ohms. I'm pretty new to this so I'm not sure if this would work. The amp is solid state, and I'm just looking for some more stage volume without breaking the bank.

It appears that you amp needs a 4 Ω MINIMUM load, and it already has two 8 Ω internally mounted 10" drivers wired in parallel.

Therefore you could use either: the two internal tens, OR; the external 8 Ω 4x10" cab--but NOT both at the same time (4 Ω + 8 Ω in parallel = 2.67 Ω)

BTW. Your amp will put out less power at 8 Ω.
 
Don't be fooled by the two output jacks on the back of your combo's head! The Bassman 250 pre/power section was manufactured to be sold as a stand-alone head, as well as the pre/power section on the 250/210 and 250/115 combos. But both combos have 4-ohm speaker sections to maximize the output of the head. Unless you're prepared to replace the internal speakers with two 4-ohm speakers (wired in series) or two 16-ohm speakers (wired in parallel) to create an 8-ohm load, you *can't* drive an external cab and the internal speakers at the same time.
