For sale Fender 50th Anniversary Jazz Bass

In 2010 Fender produced a limited number of these special instruments to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic Jazz Bass. The unique features include a gorgeous Candy Apply Red lacquer finish with matching headstock, graphite reinforced neck, rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block markers, vintage ‘75 pickups with 70’s spacing, hi-mass bridge with thru-body stringing option, lightweight tuners with tapered shafts, and vintage-style appointments such as a 60’s headstock decal, a thumb rest, and chrome pickup and bridge covers. The finish shows some wear with a few light scratches, dents and small chips, but overall the bass is in excellent condition and plays and sounds like a great Jazz Bass should. Weight is about 9.5 lbs. This instrument can be a working musicians tool, a treasured collectible, or both. Comes with the original G&G hardshell case.
