The price is high in most of Europe. I paid USD 1000,- in the US and it feels like a bargain. The price the guy has set on the bass is 1520 euros, or almost 2100 USD as of today. What do you guys think? I guess the price will sound absurdly high for any American but I'm interested in their opinion as well. I think it is too high, but it's not easy to find this model around here. I isn't sold by Thomann or any of my regular dealers. Thomann sells the Am Std Precision for 1385 euros, and aesthetically I like it more than the 60th. If the sound and feel is equivalent, I might settle for the Standard. Cheers.
I compared it to a beautiful `58 American Vintage. From looks alone it was a no brainer, but the sound and the feel of the 60th Anniversary won me over completely. So I left the shop with the 60th Anniversary. It is the best P-bass I`ve ever played.
