fender 7001-C P.A. cabinets. anyone know anything about these?

My buddy traded me some P.A. Cabinets for some similar peaveys. Anybody even seen these?

No but they appear to be as old as the Ark Look at the ohm settings. Could be collectable.

Thanks. I've got the speakers not the head. I saw one post about dating the speakers from their serial codes. I haven't opened the cabs yet though.

I love the term Public Address, brings back so many memories of Bose powered PA heads being used for horns for band PA's.

what, as actual PA speakers?

sorry, that ship sailed long ago. there's no such thing as "vintage PA", that stuff just gets obsolete; it's like computers that way.

maybe the speakers might be cool in a guitar amp, but as actual PA it's pretty much worthless, some $200 behringer PA cabs would sound far better.
