Fender 9050 After 6mos(sort of)

9050s have slowly overtaken Dunlops become my favorite flats.

Same here. I was a religious user of Dunlops for years with Fenders always being a close second. I went away from both for a while to rounds and when I came back I found I didn't like the Dunlops as much so Fenders have taken over the #1 spot. Also doesn't help that Dunlop more than doubled in price in just a few years. You can buy 2 packs of Fenders for the price of 1 pack of Dunlops.

I also found that these age well. I have a set that I have moved from bass to bass for the last couple years. I took them off my P and put them on my new Yamaha PJ bass. When my replacement set for my P arrived, I found they had quite a different sound. More clanky and less "smooth". So now I need to work on the break in on my P bass, I guess.
