Fender American Pro P/J Bass B-string... any good?

I'm in the market for a passive 5-string. I don't have access to decent music stores where I live.

What's the general consensus on the usefulness of the Fender American Pro B-string? Too floppy? Muddy? OK?

It's a very solid bass. I've had several American Fender V's and all were probably quality.
