Fender AV '63 P vs. American Design Experience

So I was playing around with Fender's American Design Experience and chose a vintage P with '63 neck and '63 pickups.

Aside from the body finish and lack of ashtray and pickup cover (and different colors), can anyone tell me how this is different than the AV '63 that sells for $500 more?

I tried to tell from the specs but nothing stood out - looks the same. Now if they just offered Sonic blue....

The body on the American Experience will be Poly vs the Nitro finish on the American Vintage. Then of course all the case candy/extras and possibly higher resale of the stock model.
