Lowendtech
Happily trending in my own peculiar direction.
Yeah the 100T has an internal powersoak so the DI out is post power amp on silent record and post power all times I believe.

I have owned both the 100T and the Super Bassman concurrently and to my ears there was quite a noticeable difference between the two. The extra headroom of the Super Bassman adds greater weight to the notes even at lower volumes, as well as allowing it to stay cleaner at louder volumes. This may not be what everyone requires but since I prefer a clean tone I sold my 100T and kept the Super Bassman. I have to confess I purchased an Ampeg V4B for quieter gigs at 100 watts as I found its breakup a little more euphonious than the 100T, giving the impression of greater headroom. All this of course is very much IMO and for my purposes, without a doubt the 100T is a great amp with great recording options...horses for courses...and try before you buy, if you can.Apart from the 6x6550 power tubes in the SB300 to the 4 x 6L6 power tubes in the 100T. .. the fan etc. . Don't think there's much other difference. Oh..the 100T has the ability to run without a cab or sumthin. ..so you get the actual POWER section into yr recordings.. the SB300 doesn't have that. It HAS a silent record thingy (elec expert term there) but the power section ain't included.
And the 100T has the 25w/100w switching available. Nothing like that on the Super Bassman neither.
I could be wrong. ..but them's my knowings![]()

No. Sorry. There were probs in the 100T 's bias light system for a while. ...so dunno if that's anything to do with it.
But. ....I pretty much ignore the bias lights in my Super Bassman. And just go from its sound. ...as I've done with all my tube amps from my very 1st amp back when I was 12. Sh!t..... 40 yrs ago
I just plug in. ..turn it onto standby. ..leave it for a few minutes to warm up. ... the switch to ON but have the MUTE (master vol control pulled out) engaged. ... until I'm ready to play. .. if all sounds good I'm not even LOOKING behind the amp.
So. .TBH.... Mine COULD'VE been showing some orange lights for a year and I've not noticed coz it simply SOUNDS superb!
Each to their own of course. ..but my take.![]()
Can anyone suggest I way I can use headphones with the 100t? Perhaps a device, or pedal with a headphone jack in effects loop?
I use a pedalboard in front of the amp, and I would like to maintain the tone of the amp for quiet practice through headphones. Is this possible? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I use a Rolls personal monitor with my PF-20t. Can also mix in an .mp3 player. Works super well. Can anyone suggest I way I can use headphones with the 100t? Perhaps a device, or pedal with a headphone jack in effects loop?

I have gassed for a a pair for 410 Neo's since I got my 100T rig 5 years ago, but I can't find any legitimate reason. The single 410 Neo does more than enough, even big outdoor festival stages it totally shines. But stacked or side by side, that would be the hottest looking rig out there imo.Anyone tested the 100t with 2 x 410 neo?
How well the amp is driving two 410?
