fender bassman 150

so i couldnt find anything about it in the reviews so i'm asking here. now i couldnt help myself so i decided to peak at my birthday presents a little early and i was suprised to find this amp sitting in my parents closet lol. i know its kind of expensive for an amp...well at least it is to me.

so i really havent had a chance to play on it yet
so i was wondering what is it like? is it an overall good amp or does it just fall short? i noticed it had a switch on the back and i was wondering what thats for? so basically any help is much appreciated. thanks y'all

Its not a bad little amp. I have a 250 which has the same control layout and is probably voiced similarly. Its sound is a little scooped and the 150 isn't going to be very loud...although it should handle playing along with a drummer and guitarist. Its probably not going to be loud enough to handle a full on rock band, but not many 150 watt 112 combos are.

All-in-all, its light, capable, has pretty good features, sounds OK...and your parents bought it for you. What more could you ask for?:)
