Has anyone ever used a Fender Bassman 400 with an upright? I have an opportunity to pick one up cheap, but likely ASAP. Any thoughts?

I have the head but have never used it for DB. I got a AI clarus III for that. Same wattage but much smaller. But the pre on the Fender is stellar for slab. Hmmm.
