I picked this up a few weeks ago. Brand new 2020 Fender Custom Shop 1951 Precision Bass in Nocaster Blonde. It's the only bass I've been playing since I got it.

That looks amazing! What are those saddles made from? Are they compensated for intonation?

Thanks! The saddles are made of pressed fiber, supposedly just like the originals were. They're not compensated, but intonate and set up with no problems. The set up from the Custom Shop was excellent, nice and playable. The action was set just about 7/64"on the bass side and 5/64" on the treble side. I just needed to add a tiny little bit of relief to the neck, there was a slight buzz on the 7th fret of the A string. They had it almost dead straight.

Arrived this evening: 2020 '60 Relic in Seafoam with 7.25 radius board, 60 Jazz U neck, vintage frets and 60s pups. Weighs in at 9.4 lbs including ashtrays. Been playing it non-stop for 5 hours. It's amazing, just as I had hoped.
