Fender deluxe P any difference?

Is there any real difference between the deluxe p bass with the single bridge opposed to the humbucker bridge one?

The sound that you generally look for is that jazz jaco type sound when using that pickup, I would think the single would be fine,,,,,

Fender claims new electronics and a new sound. I have not used the new US Deluxe but I did own two older Deluxes with the Humbucker bridge pickup. I did not like the sound , especially on the Humbucker, so maybe they have corrected the problem. I love everything else about the Deluxe series.
