Fender experts: Help decipher '75 Precision neck stamp

Hi folks, thought I would share in case there's someone savvy on the nuances of '70s Fender neck stamps.

Pictured is the stamp on a '75 Precision neck. I'm not worried about authenticity, as this bass checks out in all ways. I know neck stamps can often be smudged or worn or faded, and most of this one's main (larger) stamp is faded (though what I can see of it - looks like 0106 - is still something I can't interpret; it's an A neck, so wondering if 06 could be code for that).

The main thing I'm wondering about is the second, smaller green stamp on the lower left part of the heel (17204). I've seen several Fender-dating sites (like this one: GGJaguar's Guitarium and Ampeteria Dating 1970s Fender Guitars byNeck Code that break down the main, larger stamp number, but I've never seen a reference to the smaller, second number below it. No idea what it refers to.

Any insight into any aspect of this neck stamping would be appreciated!
