I've been keeping my eye open for one of these as well. I just recently found out that a Guitar Center around where I live just sold one!!! I'm extremely upset because it was the week I left for Europe!!! :scowl: I was willing to pay $500 too.

An old thread but the pain remains! One of those things with EMG's and a BTS would be my perfect bass!

Do you happen to have a pic of it? I'm wondering how the playability is compared to a bolt on. I have a Prophecy II and I love it, but I always wanted to try the III just to see how it would compare.

I have a prophecy II. Same thing, but bolt on instead of neck through.

As far as bang-for-the-buck goes, its absolutely SICK. P/J Tones sing with the thing, standalone P is pretty growly, and standalone J is very buttery.

Yep I got one. Neckthrough in natural. I still have it. I bought it brand new in 1995. Not 100% sure of the woods. I think its a bubinga top,mahagony back and maple neck with mahogany stringers. I had it converted into a fretless a few years back and it KILLS.

I snagged a Prophecy II this year, and I am loving it! It has a great funky sound, and well just is fun to play.
