Fender HMV bridge dimensions

Hi,

I got a Fender Aerodyne P-Bass with a recessed bridge, and i want to change the original one. But there is a sort of cavity for the bridge, so I need the size of the Fender High Mass bridge to see if it will fit or not in the Aerodyne bridge cavity.

No, I would not trust 3 screws in the basswood body to hold it in place. The recess is smaller then any bridge I've seen. The stock one works fine.

Well, if the HMV is a 3 holes mounting bridge, it will fit in a 5 holes cavity anyway ? But if the baseplate is bigger than the HMV, question looks solved.

Unless you find a direct fit, sounds like a lot of pain for no gain. High mass changes little.
