Has anyone found the E-string on these basses to be abnormally loud compared to the other strings? I brought one of these out on a gig a while ago and couldn't tame it. I'd own one right now if it wasn't for this issue. Anybody want to weigh in?

Fender Jaguar ... E-string issues?

I've adjusted my pickups lower underneath the E string. It's bigger, and it vibrates more than the other strings, so I guess it's only natural that it's louder? What gauge are you using?
