Could not agree more. My current #1 is a PB62-US with 1.65" nut. Gives the flavor of the old school necks without the carpal tunnel issues!Gotta say I like the neck specs on the 50's and 60's better than the US versions. 1.65 nut width. The mexi 50's reissues are 1.75" and the AVRI 60's is 1.74".
Pretty much that 1.75" nut is why I stayed away from P basses for years. I Don't go for that on a 4 string.
I guess that no, since they're "Japan Exclusive", but as always, you can import them by yourselfThese are for export?
Hi Guys. Been offered this MIJ P Bass non export J series.
Can anyone date it please? Was told about 2012.
Thanks Malak.I would highly recommend you write to or call Fender and ask someone to look up the serial number. According to their own Invalid Link Removed guide, it should have a "JD" followed by eight digits. The one being offered has a "JP" and only seven digits. It's possible that it's some kinda special edition, but at a glance, it's a bit suspect.
I enjoyed reading that. Thanks for posting the article.Hey, Fender-Japan Enthusiasts! I just found an excellent article which clarified a few details regarding the creation of Fender Japan, Ltd. and it's shift to the current Fender Music Corporation (Japan) incarnation.
