Fender Jazz 60’s RI Japan - alder or basswood?

hi experts! I’m interested in a Fender Jazz 60’s reissue Japan locally for sale, but I really want to know if the body is alder or basswood.The seller doesn’t know. Any thoughts? See pictures. thnx!

A while ago, I owned a CIJ RI62 Jazz in 3T sunburst, red tort, non-threaded barrel saddles, hex metric gauge saddle screws, thin and slanted ground stripe, vintage thin frets, etc, numbered V034631 (I have never found which year that number was for), and IMHO the body was basswood (thumb rest and F plate added).
The tuners are very different from OP's bass; no hootenanny button.
The only good part on that bass was the neck (actually as good as on my AVRI '62 Jazz).
