great blue.I have found in youtube the same model in white color in a video. I leave the link you .My point of view in CARand in blue they are precious(beautiful). Does someone know a catalogue with all the models that fender has made?

Thank you

The Sonic Blue 70s RI FSR has been a lust issue of mine for some time. I actually held one at a guitar show in the Detroit area over a year ago.....the dealer wanted $1800 for it, and I didn't have it. I hope to get one someday.....for now I'll have to be satisfied with my sunburst MIM 70s Classic.

These came in a total of four colours: candy apple red, olympic white, lake placid blue, and sonic blue.

I sold my lake placid blue Jazz two weeks ago, #866. These things have great and very strong tone, the pickups in them are pretty awesome.

Yup, this is the one. Highly coveted by Jazz freaks, hard to find. It came out in three colors I think, I remember a blue, a black, and possibly a white.

To me, this model constitutes the big tease, and is the source of my never-ending frustration with Fender. If they made these a little more available, with 4 or 5 color options, I think a LOT of players and collectors alike would be all over it. I sure would.

My personal opinion is that you will never see anything like these in regular production, because they want you to go to the Custom Shop for this type of model....where they would make more money on them.

The rarest colour would be Sonic Blue. I got these pics off TB a couple of years ago from an Italian owner. Sorry for not crediting, but I forgot his TB nick.

I still regret selling it, but it was 5 years ago during a shortage of money period. I had to sadly sell it and a wal. What a bass it was! I look around sometimes in used bass website if something pops up. Mine was serial 00021 by the way
