Fender Jazz bass help!

I am going to go meet someone this weekend to look at a 2-month old Highway 1 jazz bass.
Serial number Z7148199
I assume this was made in 2007.
I will be paying 525 and I think that is a fair price, but a buddy of mine says its too low. I'm not a bass expert, its for my brother to upgrade from his squier.
Is this a good deal? Does this one have the badass bridge?

I think thats a pretty good price. I dont know if it has the BA2 bridge but you will know right away when you see it. Its not hard to tell a HWY 1. Matte body, 70's logo, MIM tuners, etc.

Highway One= Badass

Price= Fair if in good shape and playable.
Good Deal?= I say yes.

That's a Highway One Jazz and no, you don't need to haggle anymore as that is a good deal as it is! It may also be one of the rare ones with graphite rods reinforcement in the neck.

Just for reference there was a Blonde Highway One Precision on Craigslist near me for $600 last week, so sounds like the one you are looking at is a good price if it is in nice shape.
