Fender Jazz Bass Marcus Miller 4 Strings

Does anybody know if this bass is good, I mean is not a very expensive bass, but I want it to know if anybody have one of this, and tell me about your experience, I tried this bass on a store, and the sound is great, but is kind of noisy, maybe is the active system but the noise is kind of annoying.

Please tell me Im interested in this bass, but the noise is normal??

I love mine. It’s one of the best bass guitars I’ve ever owned.
Mine is Japanese-built, it was made in 2010, and I’ve had it for about two years.

I play it through a Markbass Little Mark III head paired with an Epifani UL2-410 cabinet.
With the onboard pre-amp engaged, the sound is thick/phat with a hint of growl.

I especially like the way the vintage C-neck profile feels and although the fingerboard radius is 7.25”, it feels/plays flatter.
The only drawback is that it’s a little heavy.

Other than the typical single-coil pickup hum, mine is not noisy.

I have one, got it back in 04 during a hurricane evacuation while I was in Alabama. Traded my Geddy lee and some $$ for it, and I will never get rid of it. Mine is Japanese and plays like butter, has great action from the bad ass II bidge, and has a wide variety of tones. It can be noisy with the active pickups on which do sound great with the rich sound, but passive mode sounds excellent also. I want to shield mine as there is a little noise, but still a great bass for the $$. Buy it, you will love it

My noise goes away when I touch it by the way. So I need to shield it
