I have both, and prefer the Precision over the Jazz any day of the week for the reasons you stated, however, I'm not as resolute as you are... still grab the Geddy Jazz here and there...
Probably been covered a zillion times, I love my j bass, I love the sound. Contrary to popular belief it DOES have a bottom end and can have a good mid range. Except most guitar players, BLs etc, say they like the p bass sound. So I keep trying but the hand that signs the check picks the bass. And I keep my P handy.Figured I would start a topic I know has been covered many times. But during this quarantine its a great time killer.
Which do you prefer, the Fender Jazz or Precision bass?
I know a lot of people have other basses they prefer over these 2 types, but I just want to see what people think of these 2 types of basses in this post.
