Fender Jazz pickup lengths?

True or false:
MIM Jazz Basses are the only ones in the history of Fender which have bridge and neck pickups of equal length.
I've tried searching this one with no luck, and I need to decide immediately whether or not to bid on an early '80s Japanese Fender Jazz body. (Not sure whether the cavities are the same size or different sizes (the more common thing.))

they should be different. as far as i know only the mim basses had the same size cavities. i had to dremel mine so that my fralins would fit.

I am 99% sure the early MIM's were the only ones to do equal sized routes.
