Fender Jazz Question

In your opinion guys, what is the better bass(i.e. playability, sound, build) the Fender Geddy Lee Jazz or the Highway One Jazz? I've played the Geddy Lee and really enjoyed how it played. I'm not that happy with the paint on inlays but everything else about it is awsome (except the limited color choice). I haven't yet played the Highway One bass but I noticed it also came with the BAII bridge. I'll probably end up getting one of the two down the road.

I would choose the Geddy Lee. I own one myself, and I've never played a better Jazz. I just played an American Deluxe Jazz the other day and I still preferred my Geddy. I can't give you an idea of how the Highway One Jazzes play, but I have a Highway 1 P-Bass and it sounds like none other. Try them both out if you can!

The only thing I don't like is the glossy finish on the back of the Geddy neck. My hand doesn't slide over it like it does to a satin finish.

Maybe putting some baby-powder on my hand before I play.

Another thing to consider is that the Highway One's (the new ones) not only have the BadAss II bridge, they also have the graphite reinforced necks...plus more color choices...but no maple fretboard options.

I wish I could try a highway 1. I own a Geddy and have been gigging with it as my primary bass for about a year. I love just about everything about it....and I came from playing Tobias basses (Which I still like).
