I own a fender kingman accoustic bass with serial number CSI 1100380, China made.
Does anyone know how to recognise the production year/factory the bass was made?

When did the production of these basses start? at which countries?

No clue, but have you tried the many Fender serial number lookup sites?

I can tell you it was made in the Chinese factory. I would guess it's year at 2011. I have no clue when they were producing these where, does that really matter?

If you e-mail Fender they will tell you more on the serial.
