Fender Made In Japan? Help with this :)

Hello everyone!
I would like to know your opinion regarding a bass which I want to buy.
It would supposedly be a Fender Jazz Bass Made in Japan from the years 1993 or 1994, reissue 1962.
The publication is on facebook so I only have the photos that are there.
The sale price is 1,100,000 Chilean pesos, which would be approximately 1,375 US dollars. It's a fair price?

I think its a sweet bass but that seems like a lot of money. I have 2 MIJ jazz basses from that era and I didn't pay nearly that much. I don't know what prices or availability are like in your country though. That may be a killer deal for you. Really nice Jazz bass!

Currently the price of instruments has risen. I think that's a good price. Now I don't know if everything corresponds to an authentic Japanese bass. For example I don't see the serial number anywhere.

serial number should be above the “made in Japan” label

the tuning machines used tell you that it’s the “better” model, not the cheapest one, which had different tuners, and iirc basswood bodies instead of alder

Looks legit to me. Serial is 1993-94
