For a few years in the 90s, Fender Japan departed from their flagship designs to make the "Modern Bass," the MB-5, which features a high mass bridge, small body, modern tuners, and stylish headstock. The tone, too, is neither Precision nor Jazz but somewhere in-between. The neck on this bass is super shallow and doesn't even feel like a fiver, perfect for those making the transition for the first time or who just hate baseball bats.
Aside from a scratch on the back of the neck and some other superficial wear, this bass is in great shape with nice low action.
As you can quite plainly see, one knob is unoriginal. Wearing brand new Dr Legends flats. Well worn HSC case included.
