Fender Mexican P-Bass Question

I have to apologize if this has been asked before but I have a question about a Fender P-Bass. The local online ads just listed this Mexican P-Bass and I am wondering if it's a good deal and if so what should I look for on one of these. I am somewhat new to playing bass and have owned two Ibanez basses (GSR-200 and SR405, I still have the SR405) Here is a copy of the ad.

"Selling Fender p-bass (made in mexico) purple body very good condition. Will throw in a fender bag for the bass. Has a leather strap included. Also a Fender Frontman 25B amp in almost perfect condition." $120

I feel that it's a good deal but I just don't know much about the Fender Basses and what to look for on them. I have been toying around with getting one so I have a 4-string again. I have a time setup to see that bass on Thursday at 10:30AM.

Thanks,

Nathan

Try using Google to see what a new MIM P-Bass sells for to get a good idea of prices (yes it is a very good deal).

Well I snagged it up. It was pretty dirty and needed a good cleaning but here it is. I've never owned a fender before and now I can see why they are as popular as they are. The only thing wrong with it is that one of the wires for the pups got pinned under the pick guard and over the years has caused the guard to not lay flat anymore making it looked "bowed" in front of the pups. Checks out to be made in 2000.

The deal included a soft bag, two cords, tuner, and Fender Frontman 25B Amp. All for $120. I asked the guy if he had a few responsed and he said that he's been flooded with replies. I'm just happy I was the first one to respond.
