My 2nd bass and first American one. Sadowsky preamp really brought this bass to life - it was a good candidate since it's so light. (Original preamp/knobs NOT included despite the alternate pickguard pictures that show them). Seen a LOT of gigs with me, but still in great shape. Hipshot ultralite tuners, plus Hipshot D-tuner. (I believe) 2007 was the last year Fender made the Deluxe with humbucker in the jazz spot. I have 3 pickguards for it - tort, mint, and black. Original molded fender hard case. Normal player wear including a headstock ding or two, but overall good condition. 8lb 6oz.

With the Sadowsky preamp, does this bass now feature active/passive switching capability?

Yes it does. Pull up the VTC tone knob and it's passive. Cool thing is you can roll the tone back in passive mode so it's just like a normal passive P when played that way.

Currently strung with TI flats that sound amazing on this bass. I plan to keep those unless buyer wants them and we work something out. I'll put Hi Beams back on it, which I like a lot too.

Burwabit, do you remember which size of D tuner fits in Deluxe headstock hole? Was it 11/16?
