Hi thanks for the response. Sorry what I meant was is there anything done in able to such as compression or anything like that?

Sounds like flat wounds too kinda. Awesome stuff. Can't stop playing mine

The slap tone I get out of this is incredible! I can also get a very precision-ey tone out of it. I know it isn't a traditional jazz, but I wasn't able to get the classic "Jazz sound" out of it, so I'm selling it now just to help pay for an american deluxe (but I'm still considering keeping it around...). Overall, even not considering the price, this is a great instrument, IMHO.

That is my only downfall about the bass... idk whether to replace the nut or the bridge... The bridge seems to be a little bit wider then other fender/squier bridges to ... Did changing the nut completely fix the problem???
