Fender modern player Jazz?

I've been looking at buying one of these, just wondering if any of you have any major complaints about it. Or should I spend the extra 250€ and get a "standard" jazz bass?

I've had one for a couple months. I absolutely am satisfied with it. Love the looks and the sound. Only negative is it is heavy but worth it. The newest version is the one to get--high mass bridge, 4 knobs, and output jack on the side of the body (not control plate).

Pardon me, but I'm bad with mics. But what's the point in having two mics right next to each other like they are in the modern player?
