Fender MusicMaster pickup options

i'm putting a fender musicmaster back together.

what are some pickups in the Strat single coil shape that i could use for this? i know absolutely nothing about strat shaped pickups.

i'm planning on using 2, one in the traditional position and 1 closer to the bridge.

can anyone tell me what sort of pickups would get me close to this sound? i'm fairly certain a modified musicmaster or mustang was used to record this. i'm thinking it might be those single coil precision pickups but i don't know much about them...any help would be appreciated.

I recently put together a musicmaster. i considered the aero because i've heard such great things about their pickups. i just couldn't get myself to shell out the $120 for it. i put in the single coil quarter pound seymour duncan p-up in instead. picked one up on here used for $20 or $30. sounds pretty good. not mindblowing but pretty meaty and i like it. if you keep in mind these are cool fun basses and dont go into this thinking you'll come out with the sound of a custom jazz or anything and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

NOTE: the quarter pound is NOT a direct replacement. i clipped down the extra plastic on the p-up so it would fit under the original musicmaster pup cover.

I used a stacked humbucker strat replacement from DiMarzio - Fast Track 2 if I recall. Drop in replacement; dead quiet; pretty versatile sound - could go from a bit edgy/snarly to pillowy; didn't cost an arm and a leg. Fun bass.
