No idea some kind of screw up in coprate America, no doubt some one will be working as a tea boy/girl for the foreseeable future, <SNIP>

I don't understand. The OP bought a bunch of $250 necks for $250 each. Congrats I guess?! I don't get what the big deal is? Obviously the reference to Corona CA manufacture is wrong. Probably the ad writer will get a bonus for the most effective ad this quarter - and an afternoon off for a tea luncheon...

Generally in Fender's online store, the bodies and necks are usually about 200 bucks apart between the MIM and Cali-built pieces. Either this is MIM and set with the wrong caption in the description, or it's made-in-Cali at a hell of a price. My guess is the former rather than the latter.

In either case, the Fender online shop is a great deal if what they have works for you, and you get to skip sneaking fake Fender decals onto your Warmoth neck ! You could build a genuine Fender 'parts bass' . . . . .
