Fender Noir P bass

Anyone own one?? They look amazing. I got to pick one up at the local music shop. I played it for a couple minutes while I was waiting to get a shipping box. I didn’t have time to plug it in.

First off, I was SHOCKED at how light it was. The fretboard is beautiful. Loved the profile of the neck. I am trying REALLY hard not to drop 700 bucks right now.

Any reviews?

A Little late but I have one. I changed the pickup to Geezer's. What a wake up call. I also put red strings on.

It’s a special edition which was only produced last year. Fender made a Strat, a Tele, and a P-bass in the same matte black/red livery. Apart from the paint job, it’s a standard MIM. However, it’s a cracking bass - sounds great, a pleasure to play, and drop-dead looks. And since it’s a special edition, there aren’t that many about. I love mine.
