They are over priced. I wonder if they are going to continue to let Warmoth All Parts MightyMite ect to continue selling their liscensed by Fender stuff now.
I also hope those necks dont have serial numbers. I could see people throwing one on a cheapo body and trying to resell it as an American Fender.

I hope this is an editing error - they describe the USA Jazz Necks as being Made in Mexico....:scowl:

Their best move at this time would be to let Warmoth and other premium builders. continue to build boutique fancy wood bodies and simply take back their share of the market for plain painted bodies they are already producing.
Force the custom builders to go back to doing CUSTOM with doubleneck body designs, special fanned fret or scalloped twisted ...whatever neck offerings. And continue to grow the custom DIY. market as a whole. Right now, it's impossible to get Warmoth to do anything really custom. They are just sitting back cranking out fender standard bodies.
Sounds more like a violation of US truth in packaging and country of origin laws - it's fine to have all parts made in Mexico, have final assembly in USA, and label the product (a bass guitar) as "made in USA;" but if the product being sold is a bass neck, then (as I understand it) it can't be labeled as they are doing.
That is cool, I guess. But I will probably just continue to buy loaded MIM Fender necks in the TB classifieds for $100-125.
No 7.25 radius necks. If you choose all the USA parts, it'll be about the same price as buying an American Std.
