Sounds more like a violation of US truth in packaging and country of origin laws - it's fine to have all parts made in Mexico, have final assembly in USA, and label the product (a bass guitar) as "made in USA;" but if the product being sold is a bass neck, then (as I understand it) it can't be labeled as they are doing.I hope this is an editing error - they describe the USA Jazz Necks as being Made in Mexico....:scowl:
They did do it years ago; they stopped some time in the early 2000s.An intelligent strategic business move. They should have started this years ago.
