Hey TB. It's that time of the month were my p basses usually get a little wonky from the weather change. I'm usually great with sets ups but this one I can not figure out. I'm having fret buzz (not like a note ringing out buzzing, but a buzz sound when I fret) and open D and A string rattle a bit along with some buzz on the 4th to 7th fret. I added relief to straighten out the neck bit by bit but it got to the point of where it stopped buzzing but it was way too uncomfortable to play than usual. I tried everything from a neck reset to changing string gauge. Can't figure it out. The neck looks a little bowed forward and that's the strange part but I capo'd it and there's a little tiny bit of relief but not enough to not buzz. Like I said i want this to be comfortable and not buzz. A little is fine because of my preference and low action setting but this is pretty bad. Thinking its a back bow but don't know how to go about. Anything I can do besides take it to a tech? Any tricks? I know the feel of it when i have it set up right and right now it's just not one of those months! Thanks.
