Fender P: CS60s must go!





I just happen to have comparison clips of the 62 Original and the Geezer in the same bass. For me, it was no contest...the Geezer ate the 62 Original for breakfast. But if you want more highs and more of a scoopy sound, you might like the 62 Original. Did this comparison with rounds, but you'll get the idea.

Here's a followup. Installed the Fender Originals earlier thus week and have been playing and recording with them. The tone sounds more natural and open. It's easier to get the sounds I am looking for. I seems to fit better with the kind of arrangements I'm doing. Doesn't have the congested tone and the foghorn lower mids of the CS60s.

I bought this bass in 2013 and have been trying to love it, but always wind up using the Jazz. Might be time for a second honeymoon.
