Fender Player Plus Precision Saddle or Bridge Replacement?

Further investigation made me totally confused.

I'm not able to provide the english language links to the fender.com shop, because I'm living in Germany.

The fender.com homepage of the Player Plus Precision Bass says under "Specification / Hardware / Bridge":
"Fender HiMass with Chrome-Plated Zinc Saddles".

Under fender.com / Parts / Parts for E-Basses / Bridges and Bridge Parts/ there are two different Fender HiMass bridges available. One got brass saddles and cost about 39 USD, the other got chromed zinc saddles and costs about 26 USD.

Not much price difference between both models. But why did Fender decide to put the cheaper zinc saddle version bridge on the Player Plus Precision Bass??
